Conscious: Barrett Brothers has been supporting the fight to sustain our nation’s forest resources since the beginning. In 1994, we were among the first to receive Forest Stewardship Council chain of custody certification. Since then, we have processed over 5MMBF of certified sustainable hardwoods.

Accountability: Each board foot of certified lumber that we use can be traced back to the forest from which it came.

Recycle: 100% of the by-products from our milling facility are recycled. Whether it’s used for bedding for livestock or converted into wood pellets for home heating, nothing goes to waste!
Environment: All of the FSC raw material Barrett Brothers uses is sourced within 500 miles of our milling facility. Less trucking means less fossil fuel burned in transport.
